This holiday season, Ely’s downtown businesses are coming together to make your shopping merry and bright while encouraging everyone to shop local! Kick off your holiday shopping during Black Friday and Small Business Saturday and support our community by visiting your favorite local stores. Participating businesses will offer the United by Our Children collectible ornament at the special price of 2 for $30, available through December 23. These ornaments make wonderful keepsakes and gifts while helping you celebrate the spirit of White Pine County.

Merr’Ely Moments: A Downtown Photo Adventure! Explore downtown Ely and keep an eye out for the beautiful new large holiday ornaments decorating the area. Snap a photo of yourself next to an ornament, post it to your Facebook profile and ‘share’ to White Pine Main Street’s Facebook page. You will receive an entry card from that local business. You will be entered to WIN special prizes! Want to boost your chances? Make a purchase of $10 or more from the same business and earn an extra entry.

KDSS Letters to Santa

Starting November 23 and running through December 23, 2024, children are invited to drop off their letters to Santa at the brand-new North Pole Mailbox, located outside KDSS Radio Station in Downtown Ely. Some lucky letters will even be read on air! To ensure Santa can respond, make sure your child includes their mailing address. This magical tradition is a wonderful way to bring the holiday spirit alive for families in our community. Don’t miss this special opportunity to connect with Santa!
